“Not MY Job ….”
“My boss is an idiot!”
“I hate this place, but I’m stuck here for another year.”
“The new guy is making me look bad.”
And the list goes on and on.
Even if we like our jobs and careers into each a little rain must fall – or a monsoon. Many of us suck it up, then scream at home. (Not recommended.) Others keep it in and get ulcers. Then there are those who are just spoiling for a fight at work.
Unlike more personal relationships where at least the semblance of love is involved, on the job we’re at the mercy of others who may be excellent, unjust, incompetent, manipulative, or even insane.
Problems at work must be dealt with using great restraint and wisdom. And we’re often stuck. We don’t want to piss off our bosses or colleagues – yet we must survive with our liver intact.
You can expect that SRT methods in the workplace will give you the strategies to not only help you survive, but reach your goals through Correct Thinking, Mindsets and Reactions.
What you bring to the table is an open mind, and a commitment to use these tools to help you move past issues, and with positivity and guts, take good risks to get you where you want to go!
